What plans do you have today?
Welcome to Calico Craft Designs, a small craft business started by Raquel in December 2012. We design and create handmade fabric and deco mesh wreaths, "rag" candle-rings, cross-stitch and hardanger items, and other small crafts. All of our products are handmade using quality materials. Our items take many hours to design and create to ensure that you receive a high-quality product for your use and enjoyment.

Fireworks, Flags, and Stars...Oh My!
A couple of weeks ago, I started my search for 4th of July items that I could use for fabric wreaths and deco mesh wreaths. It's never too early to start those holiday projects! I found a few things but then unfortunately, came down with bronchitis. Not a fun couple of weeks. So now that I'm better again, I of course, had to do more shopping. Yesterday, I acquired a few more fun fabrics and accessories and thought I'd share a photo of my stash. I'm looking very forward to getting started on a few items today and even have one design in my head that I hope will translate well to the real world. I do hope the beautiful weather lasts today so I can even work on something outside!
