I went shopping today for more fabric and ribbon, specifically for Valentine's Day. It was a bit odd considering it's not yet January 2013 but you can never start working on projects for upcoming holidays too soon. Speaking from experience, it's really easy to lose track of time and not have anything completed by the time the season or holiday rolls around. Still, it was fun to look at all of the cute patterns that are now out for Valentine's Day. Now the hard part...I have to see what I can come up with!

Gathering Supplies
I've been gathering additional fabrics and supplies today for another fabric design. Not sure just yet if I'm going to use the candle-sized wreath in the photo or if I should make a full-sized wreath for this project. Hmmmm...decisions, decisions.

A Busy December
December is traditionally a very busy month for most families who celebrate Christmas or Hanukkah. Shopping, decorating your home or office, parties and celebrations with friends and co-workers, cooking and baking, all in preparation of the upcoming holidays. I too spend much of my time during this month trying to find that one special gift for all of my loved ones. I also try to create at least one handmade gift for my close family and friends each year. This year I worked on a few fabric "rag" candle-holders for my friends and family. I've attached several photos of my latest projects. These were not for sale on Etsy but instead are part of my private collection to be used as gifts. I will continue to work on items for my Etsy store and should have additional stock in January.
