New Upcoming Designs for Etsy

If you have visited the Calico Craft Designs Etsy Shop lately, you will probably have noticed the lack of any new items.  It has been one of those months where time has seriously gotten away from me.  I have started on a few fabric "rag" wreaths for Independence Day and I hope to have them completed very soon.

I've also been busy gathering designs and supplies for a few new upcoming designs to add to the shop.  I believe that it's time that I expand the shop's inventory from just fabric wreaths and candle-rings to include handmade, cross-stitch cards.  I'm excited about sharing this long-time passion with you by creating beautiful keepsake cards for you and your loved ones!  I hope to have these new items posted in the upcoming weeks.

Fireworks, Flags, and Stars...Oh My!



Getting ready for 4th of July!

A couple of weeks ago, I started my search for 4th of July items that I could use for fabric wreaths and deco mesh wreaths.  It's never too early to start those holiday projects!  I found a few things but then unfortunately, came down with bronchitis.  Not a fun couple of weeks.  So now that I'm better again, I of course, had to do more shopping.  Yesterday, I acquired a few more fun fabrics and accessories and thought I'd share a photo of my stash.  I'm looking very forward to getting started on a few items today and even have one design in my head that I hope will translate well to the real world.  I do hope the beautiful weather lasts today so I can even work on something outside!

New Items in Etsy Shop!

I added a couple of new items to the Calico Craft Designs Etsy Shop today.  One is a beach-themed fabric candle-ring and the other is another "rag" wreath for St. Patrick's Day.  This one has a small wooden sign in the center that simply says "Luck".

Check them out at the shop today before they are gone!

Show your house some Irish love!

Dress up your house for St. Patrick's Day!  Share your Irish side with the world...well, at least your neighborhood!  Everyone needs a little green in their lives.

Spring is in the Air!

Spring is in the air!  Or at least in the fabric stores!  :-)  I did a little shopping yesterday and found some great fabrics and ribbons that I hope will make beautiful "rag" wreaths and fabric candle-rings.  This variety of patterns is for both St. Patrick's Day and the upcoming Spring season.  I picked up a few special surprises that I'll share a bit later.  ;-)  I can't show you everything all at once!  Be sure to check back here, on our facebook page, or on the Calico Craft Designs' Etsy Shop to see the finished items.

Etsy Shop Updates

The Calico Craft Designs' Etsy Shop has been updated with a new Valentine's Day fabric wreath and brand new photos for many of the products.  I've been working to try to improve my photography and give the store a more cohesive look.  Currently, there's even a SALE on all of the Valentine's Day items in the shop!

The new rag wreath is approximately 16 inches wide with red, pink, white, and black fabrics, ribbons, and tulle.  It has a small, pink and glittery wooden sign in the middle that simply says "Love".

New Look for CCD!

I wanted to give a big "shout-out" to Maranda of Cyan Sky Design for providing the new logo and avatars for Calico Craft Designs!  The Calico Craft Designs blog, facebook page, and Etsy store now all have a cohesive look and feel to them.
